Description
The legendary Indiana University African American Dance Company presents its Annual Spring Concert, featuring new dance on film works created by director Baba Stafford C. Berry Jr. and students.
Since 1974, the African American Dance Company shares movement traditions and diverse dance forms of the African diaspora and African American culture. The company’s repertoire includes African dance styles, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and various cultural forms.
The African American Dance Company is a course offered for academic credit through the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies instructed by Stafford C. Berry Jr. and a unit of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs at Indiana University. Learn more: HERE
The show starts on Zoom at 7:30pm. Zoom links will be sent to the email address used to purchase tickets on the week of the event. The estimated length of the show is 1.5 hours. Tickets sales end at 7pm the day of the event. Select the dollar amount you are able to contribute for your tickets on a sliding scale.
