The 4th annual Bloomington Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Festival is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, August 11 through 13, 2018, featuring blues and boogie woogie pianists from around the world.

If not sold out, single-show tickets will be available at the door to the event but the prices will increase to $25 general admission or $20 for students and seniors. Door sales will begin one half-hour before each show for cash or check only. To purchase your tickets at the advance price and get the best deal, select the correct showtime above!

Aug. 11, 11am – A preview on WFHB’s “Saturday’s Child” at the Monroe County History Center, broadcast on WFHB and open to the public.
Aug. 12, beginning at 1pm – Free performances on the Arts Plaza adjacent to the Ivy Tech Waldron with food and beverages from La Poblano Taco Truck and Bloomington Brewing Company.
Aug. 12, 8-10:30pm – Free performances at “Bloomington Boogies After Hours” at Malibu Grill, 106 N Walnut St, hosted by Florida artists Liz Pennock and Dr. Blues.
Aug. 13 – Educational activities, including free piano workshops in schools.

The Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center houses a unique blend of artists, performers, and educators. At the Ivy Tech Waldron, visitors can see a play, catch a concert, and enjoy multiple art galleries. The Whikehart Auditorium can accommodate up to 200 people and is ideally suited for large events such as theater productions, concerts, and dance performances. The auditorium is fully accessible through the venue’s Fourth Street entrance, with an elevator to provide access to the upper floors of the building. Parking is available at the Fourth Street Garage, located across the street from the center, and on the street around downtown.
