The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, Reimagining Opera for Kids, Windfall Dancers, and Voces Novae Chorus are partnering to present Gian Carlo Menotti’s beloved opera for children, Amahl and the Night Visitors.
Two FREE performances are scheduled on Sunday, December 9th.
First show: 5:30pm
Second show: 7:30pm
Although the performances are free a ticket is required to guarantee your seat. There is a limit of 6 tickets per patron. Doors will open 15 minutes before each performance. Will-Call is available in advance at the BCT Box Office, or on the day of the show please plan to pick up your ticket at the venue.

The Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center houses a unique blend of artists, performers, and educators. At the Ivy Tech Waldron, visitors can see a play, catch a concert, and enjoy multiple art galleries. The Whikehart Auditorium can accommodate up to 200 people and is ideally suited for large events such as theater productions, concerts, and dance performances. The auditorium is fully accessible through the venue’s Fourth Street entrance, with an elevator to provide access to the upper floors of the building. Parking is available at the Fourth Street Garage, located across the street from the center, and on the street around downtown.
