Description

Another Round is the only all-male and “mostly single” a cappella group at Indiana University. It is comprised of 12 of IU’s finest singers and performers. The group originated as Straight No Chaser in 1996 and the name has since changed but the legacy lives on. They perform with a unique, relaxed style that distinguishes them from many a cappella groups. In addition to a wide variety of music (everything from Bill Withers to Justin Bieber), their performances provide the audience with an opportunity to get to know the guys and maybe even laugh a bit. Their show is sure to be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds and will definitely put a smile on your face.

Doors for this general admission event will open at 7:30pm. The performance is expected to last roughly 90 minutes.

More Information

Originally named Straight No Chaser, the group was founded in 1996 by Dan Ponce and several friends from the world-renowned Singing Hoosiers. In 2008, a video of the group singing a unique rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” went viral, leading to a deal with Atlantic Records for the founding members. Although the school group is no longer known as Straight No Chaser, the music and traditions continue to be preserved under the new name: Another Round.
