A community celebration of volunteers presented by City of Bloomington Community and Family Resources Department, Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, IU Credit Union, United Way of Monroe County, and WTIU Public Television.
Awards in ten categories will be presented to outstanding volunteers and volunteer groups in the community. A $500 award check will be presented to each volunteer’s host nonprofit.
This is an all-ages event that is FREE and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30pm. the event is expected to last 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block off the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLUBoy may be taken into the auditorium. Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs. Please contact the box office at 812.323.3020 to purchase those seats. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.
