Tier 1 seats
are $20 for Adults, $15 for Students/Children.
Tier 2 seats are $15 for Adults, $10 for Students/Children.

Bloomington Expressive Arts Training (BEAT) will present their 8th annual BEAT Fall Show. BEAT is a pre-professional community show choir program for children in grades 1st-12th throughout Bloomington and surrounding areas. The program is made up of almost 200 students, has a volunteer college TA staff of 14, a band of 4 and employs a Creative Team of 7. Come watch the members of Amplitude and Syncopation debut parts of their 2020 Competition Shows, along with Mini Sync, Synchronicity, DanceWERKS, VocalWERKS and Frequency! These kids will sing and dance their way through music you know and love. Featuring hip hop, musical theater and pop music, BEAT invites you to partake in this innovative, engaging entertainment fit for the whole family!!! Come get to know these amazing and talented young people!!!

Doors will open at 7pm each night. Seating is reserved. The program lasts 90 minutes and there is no intermission. TICKET POLICIES: If children will spend the entire performance sitting on adult’s lap they can be admitted without a ticket. Otherwise, children of all ages need tickets. Students must be prepared to show a valid student ID from any institution.

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block east of the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLU Boy Cafe may be taken into the auditorium.

Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra-level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs, which can be purchased via the box office at 812.323.3020. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.

This pre-professional program allows students to work with nationally-recognized clinicians in the fields of show choir, hip hop dance, vocal jazz, and popular music. Emphasizing the highest musical standards and professional conduct, BEAT strives to create a positive atmosphere for young people to explore the art of singing, dancing and performing.
