Bloomington Expressive Arts Training (BEAT) will present their 8th annual BEAT Spring Show on Tuesday, April 21st & Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:30pm at the Buskirk Chumley Theater. BEAT is a pre-professional community show choir program for young people grades 1-12 throughout Bloomington and surrounding areas. Come watch the members of Syncopation & Amplitude perform their Competition Shows one last time, as well as Mini Sync, Synchronicity, DanceWERKS, VocalWERKS & Frequency sing & dance their way through music you know and love. Featuring hip hop, musical theater & pop music, BEAT invites you to partake in this innovative, engaging entertainment for the whole family!!! Come get to know these incredibly talented young people!!

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block east of the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLU Boy Cafe may be taken into the auditorium.
Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra-level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs, which can be purchased via the box office at 812.323.3020. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.
This pre-professional program allows students to work with nationally-recognized clinicians in the fields of show choir, hip hop dance, vocal jazz, and popular music. Emphasizing the highest musical standards and professional conduct, BEAT strives to create a positive atmosphere for young people to explore the art of singing, dancing and performing.
