Description

Promtional Image for Calling All KatesCALLING ALL KATES by Emily Goodson & Jeremy Schonfeld

Right before their wedding, Marc gets dumped by his fiancée Kate McBride. Unable to get a refund on the airline tickets for their international honeymoon and doubly unable to switch Kate’s ticket to a friend’s name, Marc posts an ad online. There’s got to be another Kate McBride out there, right? He offers an all-expenses-paid trip around the world to one lucky woman with only one condition: her name must be Kate McBride. I mean, that’s what the tickets all say.

Set loose in many different foreign countries, strangers Marc and Kate must get to know one another and learn to get along in the wake of Marc’s heartbreak.

Will they fall in love? Probably not. Will they have a heck of a good time? Definitely.

The BPP Box Office will open at 6:30pm, and the house will open at 7pm. The play will last approximately two hours.

Refunds and exchanges can only be made up to 24 hours in advance of showtime, including for tickets purchased with subscriptions.

The Bloomington Playwrights Project (BPP) is the only professional theatre in Indiana dedicated solely to new plays. In operation for 35 years, the BPP serves both the Bloomington and national theatre community by working with talented playwrights, actors, and artists to develop high-level productions for both local patrons and the many audiences attending subsequent productions of scripts that originated at the BPP. The Bloomington Playwrights Project is an advocate for playwrights and new plays, believing firmly that they are not only important but absolutely vital to the future of the art form.
