Company Danzante is an Arlington-based dance company founded in 2013 by Katherine Horrigan and Arturo Garcia. The company focuses on performing and promoting contemporary dance and has performed at such venues as the Kennedy Center, the Dance Gallery Festival in NYC, the Manhattan Movement Center, and more. Company Danzante’s goal is to promote excellence in contemporary dance with captivating dance productions and conceptual dance creations through an emphasis in the investigative creative process while supporting and nurturing the professional careers of passionate dance artists. Company Danzante serves the local community through engaging dance presentations, education programs, and outreach activities. They will be performing with students from the IU Contemporary Dance program.
In partnership with the IU Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance, this event is part of the IU Arts and Humanities Council’s 2019 Global Arts and Humanities Festival Mexico Remixed.
Doors will open at 7pm for this general admission event. The event is expected to last about 1.5 hours.

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block off the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLU Boy may be taken into the auditorium. Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra-level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs. Please contact the box office at 812.323.3020 to purchase those seats. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.
