The Hoosier Films Annual Festival celebrates the vibrant and diverse films and filmmakers of Indiana. Experience the impressive range and quality of Indiana-made films during three days of events at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
The venue will open at 9am and the workshop runs 9:30 – 11:30am. More information TBA.
You will not need a physical ticket to enter the workshops. Your name will be on a guest list at the door. Please be prepared to present a photo ID or a copy of your receipt.

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block east of the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLU Boy Cafe may be taken into the auditorium.
Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra-level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs, which can be purchased via the box office at 812.323.3020. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.
Hoosier Films is a multi-platform distribution service featuring Indiana-based films and filmmakers, based in Bloomington, Indiana. Launched in 2019 by two native Hoosiers, husband and wife team Thomas DeCarlo and Meredith McGriff, Hoosier Films was created to address the lack of awareness of the thriving independent film scene in Indiana.
