I AM YOU is a theatrical experience that explores themes of love, friendship, conflict, family, and hope. Told in the form of a series of vignettes, Stone Belt’s inspiring clients will share their personal stories in nuanced and unique ways. Participants rehearsed for ten months to be sure that each story is expressed through a performance that showcases that individual’s talents and interests. This year, performers will share their impactful stories in a variety of ways, including music and acting. Along with monologues, a few audience members will have a chance to tell a short story and have their story “played back” by Stone Belt’s inclusive Playback Troupe. Members of the troupe include Stone Belt client actors and actors from the Bloomington area without disabilities.
Doors open at 6:30pm for this general admission event. Any tickets not picked up in advance at the BCT Box Office will be available at the door of the venue the day of the show starting at 6:30pm. If this event is not sold out, tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. Cash, check, and credit card will be accepted as payment.
