When Dorothy fell out of Kansas, “a miracle occurred.” Riley Hospital for Children performs miracles each day by saving the lives of hundreds of kids. Join Bloomington South Dance Marathon in celebrating the miracles of Riley Hospital at the Miracle Movie Matinée showing of The Wizard of Oz.
Bloomington South Dance Marathon is a philanthropic organization run by students at BHSS and BHSN. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for Riley Hospital for Children in honor of all of the children whose lives have been saved by the amazing care at Riley.
Indiana’s only nationally ranked and comprehensive children’s hospital, Riley and its regional clinics support more than 300,000 patient visits each year and involve more than 6,500 patients in clinical trials.
Over the past 13 years, Bloomington South Dance Marathon has raised more than $800,000 for Riley. This year, 75% of our funds will go to the Wells Center for Pediatric Research and 25% will go to clinical programming. Since every dollar invested in Riley research leads to $12 in federal grant, our efforts will create a ripple effect that will impact the hospital immensely.
The doctors, nurses, and staff at Riley go above and beyond for their patients every day. Help us go above and beyond for them by attending The Wizard Of Oz. There’s no better way to have fun over Spring Break and help a great cause at the same time!
Thanks to this event’s sponsor, Karen Pitkin at RE/MAX Realty Professional,100% of the event’s proceeds will benefit Riley Hospital for Children!
Doors will open at 2pm for this general admission event, and the run time is 2.5 hours.
