Looking to put together a product launch event? Starting a regional conference of your peers? Have an idea for a great new performance or film series that could inform and entertain the community? Join Danielle McClelland, Executive Director of BCT Management, Inc., the private non-profit which manages the Buskirk-Chumley Theater for a brief but vigorous program where we will:
- help you distill your idea;
- examine the market to assess if the idea has the potential for success;
- create a realistic timeline;
- create a solid budget;
- develop a compelling marketing campaign; and
- establish a day of event plan to make sure all details are handled and you have a chance to enjoy the event.
Far too often, events born of great ideas and new found energy devolve into panic and spurts of chaos by the time event day arrives. If you’re tired of moving through this cycle of high hopes, followed by frustration, followed by results that were not up to your expectation, or a planning team vowing “never again,” join this two-hour session to change your event planning strategy. Participants will leave the program with a compelling pitch for their event, and the outline of their event plan.
This event is part of the BCT’s 2019 Educational Workshop Series. Other sessions are Marketing That Works and Event Tech 101. More information about the series, as well as about our Arts Start Up Seminar, can be found on the BCT’s website.
