Remembering Lil BUB: A Celebration of Her Time on Earth is a memorial event in honor of Bloomington’s very own magical space cat. It is an opportunity for BUB’s friends, supporters, and fans to come together and commemorate the remarkable work she has accomplished in her 8 years on planet Earth while raising funds for animals in need. The event will include BUB-themed refreshments and drinks, commemorative BUB merchandise, a gallery of BUB-inspired artwork, musical performances, an exclusive video presentation, and guest appearances from BUB’s closest friends and collaborators – including Steve Albini, Andrew W.K., and Kimya Dawson – as well as a few other magical surprises.
Doors will open at 3pm for activities in the lobby, including a memory station where people can write and share their memories of BUB. The formal program will begin at 4pm and last about 2 hours. This event benefits animals in need.
Content Information: There may be light use of a fog machine. This event is for all ages.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO AUGUST 15. All June 20th ticket holders will automatically have the same seats at the new show. Contact bctboxoffice.org if you have questions or would prefer a refund.
