This video documentary tells the story of Marvin Chandler, who first played the piano at age four in his home town of Bloomington, Indiana and since then has never stopped sharing his love of music. During his career, among many other activities, Rev. Chandler has served pastorates at Second Baptist Church in Bloomington and the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples in San Francisco, was involved in reconciliation discussions during the Attica, NY prison riots, and has been inducted into the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation Hall of Fame. Rev. Chandler’s love of music, commitment to justice, and his passion for ministry shine throughout his life.

Owned by the City of Bloomington, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is operated by BCT Management, Inc., a private non-profit organization. This theater, located one block off the Courthouse Square, seats 600 with an orchestra level and a balcony. Concessions and items purchased from BLU Boy may be taken into the auditorium. Restrooms, concessions, the box office, and the orchestra-level seats are all wheelchair accessible. Special seats are reserved for those using wheelchairs. Please contact the box office at 812.323.3020 to purchase those seats. Street, lot, and garage parking is available across downtown Bloomington.
