The Taste of Bloomington is an annual celebration of Bloomington’s wide variety of unique dining experiences. Over 40 restaurants are on site with specialties available for purchase, and local beer and wine products will also be available for purchase. Food items range from down-home Hoosier favorites to international cuisine, with everything in between.
The Taste of Bloomington begins at 3pm and will run until 11pm. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate for $10, by cash or credit card only. Purchase in advance to take advantage of the lower advance ticket price. Kids 12 and under do not need a ticket for admission.
The quickest way to enter the festival is to purchase and pick up your tickets at the BCT Box Office before the Taste begins. If you don’t have your tickets in advance, Will-Call tickets can be picked up at any of the three gates: 7th & Morton, 10th & Morton, and the B-Line entrance to the west of the festival. The 7th & Morton entrance is generally the most congested so we suggest you try one of the other gates.

Perhaps best know as the location of the Bloomington Farmers’ Market, the Showers Common is located adjacent to Bloomington City Hall and the B-Line Trail. It features public art, green space, and a blacktop parking lot suitable for a variety of events.
The Bloomington area’s favorite annual summer event, the Taste of Bloomington, takes place in mid-June and brings together dozens of Bloomington’s best restaurants, local wineries, and breweries, along with live musical entertainment at Showers Common, just next door to the Bloomington City Hall.
