Join us for a free screening of a short film made by girls involved in Girls Inc. of Monroe County. The young girls took part in a series of workshops where they learned about Bloomington’s rich arts history and produced a short film sharing stories about the Indiana Theatre, the Gentry Brothers Circus, and themselves.
This event is part of the BCT’s Telling Our Story/Creating Our Town initiative, which teaches children about local arts history and the art and science of filmmaking. This program is made possible by grants from Indiana Humanities and the Zeta Chapter of the Psi Iota Xi philanthropic sorority, operators of the Bloomington Thrift Shop.
Doors will open at 6:30 for this event. This event will take place before the screening of The NeverEnding Story. You are welcome to stay for the feature film – tickets will be available in the box office – or leave after this short screening.
