VA-VA-VA VAUDEVILLE has it all!
Sponsored by the Dance Network Alliance, this variety show extravaganza of Bloomington performers harkens back to early twentieth-century vaudeville troupes that crisscrossed the country by train, entertaining young and old alike. There is something for everyone, including a Family-Friendly Matineé featuring many younger performers, and a Naughty Night Show including comedy and burlesque.
Performers include members of Aerialogy, Dark Side Tribal, The Hudsucker Posse, Windfall Youth Company, Bloomington Acro Yoga, the delightful burlesque pf Holly Harvest, storyteller Arbutus Cunningham and poet Tony Brewer, and the musical stylings of Travis Puntarelli, Kid Kazooey & Lara Weaver, Sarah Cassidy, and Jordan River Crossing.
Both shows will be hosted by Oriana Perón.
Made possible in part by the Bloomington Arts Commission and the Buskirk-Chumley Theater Arts Start Up Program.
Doors open 30 minutes before each performance for this general admission show. The family friendly matinée is estimated to last 80 minutes followed by a Q&A. The evening show is estimated to last 2 hours.

The Dance Network Alliance~DNA was formed on June 26th of 2012. Many key members of the Bloomington Dance Community were in attendance and beautiful performances were viewed by a captive audience at Windfall Dance Studios. Our first meeting and “showcase”, part of an Arts Alliance Artists After Hours event, was a huge success. We are the newest Guild to form under the umbrella of the Arts Alliance, and plan to hold a dance Showcase annually. Our DNA Showcases will feature any and all dancers who want to perform solos, duets or group pieces either in finished form, or works in progress.
